ABOUT THE COOKING COMPETITION

Taste of Nigeria: Live Cooking Competition

Adding flavor to the experience is the Taste of Nigeria Cooking Competition, an energetic and engaging showcase of culinary talent. Contestants reinterpret classic Nigerian dishes using local ingredients, while our celebrity evaluate creativity, technique, and presentation.

Highlights include:

Live cooking demonstrations
Tasting sessions for the audience
Expert chef commentary
Prizes and recognition for the top culinary talents

This segment celebrates Nigerian cuisine, encourages creativity, and spotlights women building brands in the food and beverage space.

APPLICATIONS

To enter, applications will be submitted by participants from anywhere who wish to be part of the show. Applicants will be expected to pay the sum of N50,000 to enter into the cooking competition.

A total number of 20 applicants will be selected to make it to the food show.

PRIZES AND AWARDS

Consolation prizes will be given to participants as they exit each stage of the cooking competition and the grand prize will be given to 1 winner on the final day.

Cooking appliances/equipment (Food processors, air-fryers, gas cookers etc)

Copy of better life cookbook

Gift vouchers

International culinary course

A curated dinner experience for 2 at a nice restaurant
